- Where is CA Aesthetics Academy based?
We are based at 18 Victoria Road, Woolston, Southampton, SO19 9DX
- Is there parking?
There are numerous pay-and-display car parks within walking distance. These are free for 2 hours or £2 to park for the day. Please plan your route and parking accordingly to ensure you arrive to your course promptly. Any problems then please let us know ASAP.
- Who do we train?
Our courses are available to a wide variety of students from complete beginners to those already in the industry looking to increase their treatment offerings. For course specific entry requirements, please take the time to thoroughly read through the course information to see if you are able to enroll in that course. If you are unsure whether you hold the correct qualifications, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to advice you on your best route.
- Who carries out the training?
Your trainers are Carna and Ayesha, with a combined experience of 20 years in the beauty industry, you can be assured that you are in great hands. Follow them on their business social media accounts to find out more about them or head to the academies Instagram highlights.
- Do I need to organise my own model?
We do ask for you to provide your own model for your training course and we will give you an indication of timings they will be needed nearer to your course date. You must ensure your model is suitable for treatment. If you are struggling to find a model, then please get in touch with the academy and we will do our best to assist you.
- Do I need to bring anything with me?
Nope! Everything is provided for you on the day so all you need is yourself... and your model for an allocated time slot.
- Will I receive a certificate?
You will be assessed throughout the course to ensure you are competent and knowledgeable to practice this treatment. This will be assessed through both written tests and observations of practical competency. If both trainers are satisfied then you will be awarded your certificate at the end of your training course. This ensures you are fully qualified and able to offer the treatment.
- Do you provide any support after completion of the course?
Yes, as soon as you enroll you will be added to a class chat where you will meet other students and have the opportunity to ask the trainers any questions. This chat facility will remain in place after your course dates ensuring lifetime support. You also have the opportunity to return to the academy at any point in the future, free of charge, for further support or guidance.
- Do I need insurance to practice upon receipt of my certificate?
You will require "Professional Indemnity" insurance in order to practice aesthetics. We can recommend insurance brokers that we personally work with and offer you a discount code to use with them.
- What are my payment options?
We have a variety of payment options available. This includes paying the entire course balance, securing your place with a deposit of just £50 or splitting the cost interest free using our buy now, pay later options. We currently offer both Klarna and Laybuy. Please get in touch for more information regarding this.
- What happens if I change my mind or I'm unable to attend?
You are able to cancel your training day up to 14 days in advance. Please see the booking, refunds and terms and conditions page for a more in depth description of this.
- Can I perform the treatments on myself?
No, we STRONGLY advise against this, however, you will meet other students on our course that may be happy to offer treatments to you and we also offer all treatments ourselves. Please see our beauty pages for more information.
